The desire to lose weight in a short period of time makes many resort to drastic diets with devastating effects on the body. Although they have many fans in Romania and around the world, hyperprotective diets are dangerous and controversial. The benefits of these diets are that weight loss occurs quickly without hunger. Hyperprotective regimens encourage the consumption of meat, eggs, dairy and reduce the amount of carbohydrates in the diet. High consumption of hyperproteic foods, however, means a significant increase in the risk of developing heart disease and cholesterol problems. Furthermore, a high-fat diet favors decalcification of the bone system and the occurrence of osteoporosis in women.
Recent studies also show that people who eat many high protein foods have an increased risk of developing certain types of cancer, one of the causes being the IGF 1 meat hormone that stimulates the growth of tumor cells. Proteins are, however, extremely important for the body, but excess is the one that damages.

The total exclusion of carbohydrates from food is extremely damaging. Without their existence for prolonged periods, lifetime may decline significantly, according to recent studies.

3.Hollywood Diet

In the world of actors and singers, losing weight quickly can sometimes be a necessity, and this makes some call for drastic measures, some hilarious. What is even more dangerous is that diets are copied and perpetuated by fans. Jennifer Aniston and Lady Gaga, for example, say they have lost weight by replacing their main meals with baby purees. Another diet tested at Hollywood was the KEN diet, which involves feeding through a tube inserted directly into the stomach through the nose. By this, nutrients are introduced into the body that do not exceed 800 calories a day, and feeding is done exclusively in this way for 10 days.

In the category of insane diets, and the one that encourages sleep loss. The body consumes calories during sleep, so some people use sleeping pills to lose sleep.
