Hair loss: causes, ways of prevention and proper care

There are many ways you can slow your hair down, but this also depends on the real reasons behind this process. In some cases, such as after a pregnancy, the hair loss is solved by itself. In other news, hair loss is normal, as long as it is not in large quantities. When this process persists, it is ideal to visit a doctor’s office to find out the reasons for hair loss: thyroid problems, stress, scalp infections, alopecia, or simply aging.

Causes of hair loss

Supplements that prevent hair loss

Multivitamins. Scientists have come to the conclusion that vitamins A, B, C, D, iron, selenium and zinc are all important in hair growth and retention. Of course, the consumption of biotin and ginseng is also necessary.

How we care for our hair properly to prevent the fall

Washing regularly. If you wash your hair every day you can stop it falling by keeping the scalp clean and healthy. Ideal is to wash your head if you have hair styling or when it’s dirty. Always choose a shampoo with a delicate formula.

Coconut oil. According to studies conducted in 2018, coconut oil helps to prevent hair loss, but also to protect it from exposure to UV rays. Lauric acid helps to protect against rooting the hair shaft. Moreover, scalp massage with coconut oil is ideal for better blood circulation, and so regenerates hair.

Olive oil. Olive oil is used to protect hair from aggressive drying and hair loss. Also, olive oil is a basic ingredient in the Mediterranean diet, which helps slow hair loss. Before washing your hair add a teaspoon of olive oil to your hair and let it work for 30 minutes.
