Sushi foods

Sushi foods contain low amounts of cholesterol, both rice and low calorie fish or vegetables. Seaweed comestibles, known by sushi lovers as “clouds,” used to wrap rice rolls, contain iodine, magnesium, calcium and iron.

Sushi is usually eaten alongside sliced pickled ginger, which is a natural antiseptic. Soy sauce and very spicy paste called “wasabi” have antioxidant properties and are rich in protein and iron.
